How to unlock Originium Science Park by pushing the right main missions
In the Chapter I: Process III list, “The Mission Continues” is followed by “Cross the Science Park,” which is the main story segment that takes you through the area.
Step 1: Confirm you’re on Chapter I, Process III progression
Open your main mission list and look for the Chapter I: Process III grouping, where “The Mission Continues” and “Cross the Science Park” appear in sequence.
Step 2: Start and follow “The Mission Continues”
Track “The Mission Continues” as your active main mission and follow its waypoint guidance until it leads you toward the Science Park route.
Step 3: Transition into “Cross the Science Park”
As you complete the lead-in objectives, the next main mission becomes “Cross the Science Park,” which is the direct story objective that moves you through Originium Science Park.
Step 4: Treat entry as the unlock milestone
Once “Cross the Science Park” is active and you’re moving through that route, the region is effectively unlocked for exploration in the sense that you can now navigate within Originium Science Park as the story permits.
Step 5: Expect partial gating deeper inside the region
Even after you enter, some areas and resource nodes can still be blocked by Blight walls until you progress further into the region’s story.

Originium Science Park sits within Valley IV’s story route, and your main navigation anchor while you’re learning the area is the Transport Nexus zone.
Once you’re inside, one Ferrium Ore node is accessible west of the Transport Nexus, while other nodes are positioned south of the Research Center and north of the Mountain Path Slope (with the latter two commonly requiring additional progression due to Blight gating).
To unlock Originium Science Park, stay on the main story until Chapter I: Process III shows “The Mission Continues” leading directly into “Cross the Science Park,” then follow that route into the region.
