Arknights Endfield: “Transmit Power to the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus” – Location, Rewards, and Quest Guide

What to know

  • This objective appears during the main mission Westward into the Vale.

  • Your main hub’s transmission range is limited (about 80 m), so the bridge is typically out of reach without relays.

  • Relay towers act like intermediate “connection points” so you can chain power lines farther.

  • Once power reaches the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus/bridge switch, you can activate it to progress.

In Arknights Endfield, the quest “Transmit power to the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus” is part of the broader mission ‘Westward into the Vale’ section that tests whether you understand Endfield’s power distribution. You’re not meant to brute-force it from the hub in a single cable run, but to build a small relay chain that bridges the distance. Here’s everything you need to complete this quest.

You’ll work between the Bridge Approach area (where the Electric Nexus/bridge switch is located) and a nearby fast travel point/main hub area where your main generator and build menu access are available, because the simplest method is to return to the hub, then relay power back toward the bridge.

How to transmit power to the bridge approach electric nexus

Step 1: Confirm what needs power at Bridge Approach

Go to the Bridge Approach objective marker and identify the bridge switch / Electric Nexus you need to energize so you can progress.

Step 2: Fast travel back to your main hub

Open the map and teleport to the nearby hub/fast travel point (the guide notes it’s usually very close).

Step 3: Start from the main generator and check the distance problem

At the main generator/hub power point, attempt to begin transmission toward the bridge and note that the connection caps out around 80 m—short of the ~150 m you need.

Step 4: Switch to build mode (AIC mode)

Enable AIC mode so you can place structures.

Step 5: Place a relay tower to “bridge” the gap

Open your build menu/inventory, select a relay tower, and place it somewhere roughly within 80 m of your current powered point and also closer to the bridge direction, so the next cable segment will reach farther.

Step 6: String a power line from hub to the relay tower

Use the cable/power-line placement to connect the main hub (or an already-powered node) to the relay tower, like running real power lines.

Step 7: Add another relay tower if your layout still can’t reach

If the bridge is still out of range due to terrain or your tower placement, put down a second relay tower or reposition the first to create a valid chain.

Step 8: Run the final cable segment into the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus grid

Once you have a relay point close enough, connect the last cable segment from the relay tower to the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus/bridge switch “grid” connection point to energize it.

Step 9: Verify the objective completes and proceed

After the nexus/switch receives power, the task should complete and you can continue to the next portion of the mission path.

Rewards

There are no rewards for this subquest. But if you complete the broader mission ‘Westward into the Vale’ you get the following:

  • Origeometry – x2
  • T-Creds – x1700
  • Intermediate Combat Records – x11
  • Handcannon: Howling Guard
  • Arts Unit: Fluorescent Roc
  • Sword: Contngent Measure
  • Weapon Material: Arms INSP Kit
  • Operational XP – x400

Common issues and fixes

  • “It won’t reach from the hub”: You need relay towers to span the distance.

  • “My map looks different”: Relay towers may have been placed earlier (such as during the prologue), so you may need fewer—or you might need to place more depending on your hub setup.

  • “The line won’t connect”: Recheck that you’re in AIC mode for building, and ensure each segment is within range between the two nodes you’re connecting.

If you treat the bridge as a mid-range power-routing puzzle—hub power point → relay tower(s) → Bridge Approach Electric Nexus—you’ll clear the objective quickly and also set yourself up for later grid expansion tasks.
