Arknights Endfield: Where to Find Sandleaf and Auto Farm Build for Sandleaf Powder

What to know

  • Sandleaf is found in Power Plateau (Valley IV), with multiple pickups along Plateau Trunkway.

  • You only need one Sandleaf to start an infinite farm using Planting and Seed-Picking Units.

  • Sandleaf Powder is made in a Shredding Unit at a 1:3 ratio (1 Sandleaf → 3 powder) with a 2-second cycle.

  • A clean farm layout splits output so one half sustains the loop while the other half exports to storage/processing.

In Arknights: Endfield, you can build your Sandleaf supply by heading into Power Plateau, then convert one plant into a self-sustaining planting loop that continuously generates Sandleaf and Sandleaf Powder.

Once you’ve unlocked the right Valley IV area, Sandleaf becomes one of the easiest materials to scale up because the farm can run indefinitely with no extra inputs.

Best export approach Split outputs: one line feeds the loop, the other sends surplus to your Depot/storage or processors.

Where to find Sandleaf in Power Plateau

Sandleaf is located in Power Plateau (Valley IV), and one reliable route is to start at Plateau Trunkway and work across the area to collect multiple nodes.

There are about 17 total Sandleaf nodes in this region, including a batch on the eastern side of Plateau Trunkway and later pickups toward United Parking Lot.

How to unlock the basic farm pieces you need

To start automated farming, you need access to the Planting and Seed-Picking Units via the Processing tree, which require the Basic AIC II plan plus the Planting node. Once those are unlocked, you can place the two buildings at your AIC and run belts between outputs and inputs to form a loop.

How to build an auto Sandleaf farm loop

Step 1: Collect starter Sandleaf

Pick up at least one Sandleaf from Power Plateau (Valley IV).

Step 2: Place the Seed-Picking Unit and Planting Unit

Set both units down in your base with enough space for belts to route cleanly between them.

Step 3: Belt Seed-Picking output into Planting input

Create a Transport Belt from the Seed-Picking Unit’s output to the Planting Unit’s input so seeds/plants move automatically.

Step 4: Belt Planting output back into Seed-Picking input

Create a second Transport Belt from the Planting Unit’s output back into the Seed-Picking Unit’s input to close the loop.

Step 5: Seed the system

Put one (or more) Sandleaf into the Seed-Picking Unit to begin continuous production.

Step 6: Export surplus without breaking the loop

Add a new Transport Belt from one of the Planting Unit’s output ports to your Automation-Core so half the output goes to the Depot while the other half continues cycling to sustain infinite farming.

How to turn surplus Sandleaf into Sandleaf Powder

Sandleaf Powder is produced in the Shredding Unit, which processes Sandleaf x1 into Sandleaf Powder x3 in a 2-second cycle. So you’ll need to place a Shredding Unit just after the Planting Unit.

Then connect the two with a belt (going from the Shredding to Planting Unit).

This makes shredding the fastest way to multiply your usable material output once the farm is running consistently.

To bring the Sandleaf Powder to your storage, place a Protocol Stash after the Shredder unit and multiple lines leading to the Stash.

Ultimately, this is what the whole setup will look like:

Once your loop is seeded, the key is keeping the cycle fed while exporting only the surplus, so the farm never stalls. From there, shredding converts your overflow into powder at a strong 1-to-3 ratio, which is ideal for scaling late-game production chains that depend on Sandleaf Powder.
