What to know
- Miner Overalls is an Armor-type gear item meant to improve an Operator’s combat capability.
- You typically need the Miner Overalls assembly recipe first; once it’s acquired, the gear becomes craftable.
- Gear crafting generally involves making components in the Factory, then turning them in at Gear Assembly to produce the final piece.
- In Endfield, gear is organized into Armor, Gloves, and Kits; your Operator loadout uses one Armor, one Gloves, and two Kits.
In Arknights: Endfield, Miner Overalls are gear you can craft early in your progression where your base automation (mining and factory chains) matters as much as combat, because crafting depends on steady ore and material throughput.
Miner Overalls: Locations involved
You’ll mainly bounce between ore deposits in the open world (to keep miners fed and storage full) and your AIC base (Factory and Gear Assembly) where the actual crafting and assembly loop happens.

How to make Miner Overalls in your AIC base
Step 1
Confirm you’ve obtained the Miner Overalls assembly document/recipe (this is what unlocks the ability to craft it).
Step 2
Go to your AIC base production area and ensure your mining and processing lines are running so you can continuously supply crafting inputs (ore → processed materials).
Step 3
In the Factory, craft the required intermediate components for the Miner Overalls recipe (this is the “make the parts first” stage of Endfield gear crafting).
Step 4
Use Gear Assembly to assemble Miner Overalls from those crafted components once you have the needed quantities.

Step 5
Equip Miner Overalls as your Operator’s Armor piece, then pair it with Gloves and two Kits to round out your loadout (and potentially work toward set effects if you match pieces).
Keeping ore collection automated (instead of manually farming) helps you maintain the steady input flow needed for repeated gear crafts and upgrades. Once you have the Miner Overalls assembly document, the rest is the standard Endfield loop: automate resource intake, craft the parts in the Factory, and finish the piece at Gear Assembly.
