In Arknights: Endfield, one of the Node challenges requires you to “Equip operator with 3 pieces of blue or better quality gear and activate a set effect”.
This challenge is mostly a quick equipment check – get three same-set pieces at Blue rarity (or higher), put them on one Operator, and confirm the set effect is active.

How to equip 3 blue gear pieces and activate a set effect
Step 1
Pick the Operator you want to use.
Then open their Gear screen so you can see Armor, Gloves, and both Kit slots.
Step 2
Check your inventory for Blue (or higher) gear pieces that belong to the same set (the set name is what matters for the bonus).
Step 3
Equip three matching set pieces across the available slots, usually the simplest combo is Armor + Gloves + one Kit from the same set.
Step 4
Leave the remaining Kit slot flexible; you can equip any “off-set” item there, because you only need three pieces for the set bonus to activate.
Step 5
Confirm the 3-piece set effect is active on the Operator’s gear details; once it’s active, the challenge condition is met.
If your set bonus isn’t triggering, the fix is almost always the same: one of the three items isn’t Blue-or-better, or one piece is from a different set name. Once all three match and are Blue+ rarity, the 3-piece effect activates and the challenge completes.
