Arknights Endfield: Bridge Approach Camp – Power Plateau Ferrium Ore Mineral Bed Guide

What to know

  • The Bridge Approach Camp gate stays locked until you complete the Lone Wolf quest.

  • Ferrium can only be mined with an Electric Mining Rig Mk II (unlocked via the Mining III research node).

  • Your mining rig must be powered (typically via Relay Towers and Electric Pylons) to fully automate mining and delivery.

  • Power Plateau is one of the most Ferrium-rich areas in Valley IV, with many Ferrium mining spots compared to earlier zones.

In Arknights: Endfield, if you’re trying to set up Ferrium production in Power Plateau, the Bridge Approach Camp is a common progress wall. You can reach the area, but you can’t use it efficiently until you open the gate and build a stable power line into the plateau.

Topic What you do What it unlocks/does Key requirement
Bridge Approach Camp gate Finish the Lone Wolf quest Opens access past the closed gate Lone Wolf completion
Ferrium mining tool Research Mining III to unlock the rig Enables Ferrium extraction Electric Mining Rig Mk II
Powering the mineral bed Extend your grid to the bed Automates mining and transport to Depot Relay Tower + Electric Pylons in range
Why Power Plateau matters Build here once accessible High concentration of Ferrium spots Access + power infrastructure

How to open the Bridge Approach Camp gate

Step 1

Progress until you can take the Lone Wolf quest, since this is the requirement tied to opening the Bridge Approach Camp gate.

How to power the Ferrium ore mineral bed on Power Plateau

Step 1

Unlock Ferrium mining by researching the Mining III node (Resourcing tree, Basic AIC Plan III), which enables Electric Mining Rigs Mk II.

Step 2

Reach the Power Plateau Ferrium ore mineral bed you want to automate (Power Plateau is one of the Ferrium-dense sub-regions in Valley IV).

Step 3

Place an Electric Mining Rig Mk II directly on the Ferrium Ore Mineral Bed to start extraction.

Step 4

Run power to the rig by extending your network: place a Relay Tower connection and ensure Electric Pylons are positioned so the mining rig is within range of powered infrastructure.

Step 5

Verify the automation loop: once powered, the rig mines continuously and the ore is automatically transported to your Depot until storage hits capacity.

Step 6

If you’re building multiple lines, expand your grid outward in segments (tower first, then pylons), so each new Ferrium bed can plug into an existing “spine” rather than needing a fresh long run every time.

Locations involved

You’ll be working between the Bridge Approach Camp gate on the Power Plateau map (initially locked behind Lone Wolf) and the Power Plateau Ferrium mineral bed areas, which are part of Valley IV and known for a high concentration of Ferrium mining spots compared to earlier regions like The Hub.

Rewards and Outcomes

Goal Reward/outcome Why it matters
Open the Bridge Approach Camp gate Access to previously locked routes into Power Plateau paths/corridors Lets you reach key plateau infrastructure and resource routes
Power and place Mk II mining rig Automated Ferrium ore income delivered to Depot Stabilizes crafting/progression that depends on Ferrium
Build out power in Power Plateau Ability to automate multiple Ferrium beds Power Plateau is Ferrium-rich, so scaling pays off

Once the Lone Wolf gate is handled and your Mk II rig is powered, the Bridge Approach Camp stops being a blocker and becomes a reliable route for expanding Ferrium automation deeper into Power Plateau.
