In ARC Raiders, the quest “With a Trace” is given by Shani under the Security section of the terminal. With a Trace: Step-by-Step walkthrough
Accept the mission from Shani at the Security station in Speranza.
Travel to the Blue Gate region and locate the Barren Clearing marked on your map.
Expect enemy patrols and ARC drones near the crash site; clear them out before investigating.
Approach the downed ARC machine.
Start scanning the ARC machine for evidence.
Travel to Adorned Wreckage. Once you reach the Adorned Wreckage, follow the marking.
Reach the wreckage and inspect it.
Move to the nearby Communications Device and inspect it.
Return to Shani in Speranza to turn in the findings and collect your rewards.
With a Trace: Tips
- Expect enemy patrols and ARC drones near the crash site; clear them out before investigating.
- Use the wreckage for cover when under fire; enemies can flank from elevated terrain.
- After finishing, check for loot crates in the area; they often contain valuable crafting materials.
- Equip a medium shield or defensive mod for protection against ranged attacks.
