Once you locate a Hornet, can shoot it a couple of times to lower its health, making it easier to kill with the grenade.

Aim carefully at the hover spot. For the Trigger Nade, you must manually detonate it by right-clicking. Timing the detonation ensures you hit the Hornet.

Sparks Fly: Tips

  • Aim at the Hornet’s rear thrusters which are less armored to down them faster.
  • Hornets shoot a red laser targeting you before attacking, so keep moving and use the Testing Annex structures for cover.
  • They often spawn in packs with Wasps, so isolate Hornets first to avoid being overwhelmed.
  • If you run out, you can buy more from Apollo, but conserve your supply to avoid grinding.
