In Arc Raiders, a Rubber Duck is a common trinket that often ends up in your shelf. While it does have some use, that is, to create diversion, it's best known as something you hoard. Because we're all collectors when it comes to rubber ducks.

Rubber Duck: Details

The description of the Rubber Duck reads: "Always there to lend an ear, should you need it."

Rubber Duck: Location

Rubber Ducks are primarily found while scavenging or from random loots. However, you're more likely to find it in residential zones or inside buildings (on all four maps).

We found our precious little rubber duck inside the Testing Annex building on Dam Battlegrounds map.

But since it's a common trinket, you can find it anywhere on the map (as long as it's inside buildings).

Rubber Duck: Known Use

The rubber duck can be used to throw and create a noise to divert raiders and ARC - which is its only use. But if you're anything like us, you would want to collect and hoard these rubber ducks so they end up on your shelf.

Do note, however, that your shelf only has space for 8 rubber ducks. Any more and they won't appear.

Rubber Duck Runs: "I have a rubber duck"

As mentioned by one Reddit user, you can go on runs where you do nothing but look to collect Rubber Ducks. Basically, you take are looting augments, a rubber duck, and a room key. Don't get bogged down by guns. Whenever you encounter a raider, ping the duck so your character says "I have a rubber duck". Not only is it a hilarious little quip, but it's also likely to signal to the raider that you're a hoarder on a rubber duck run. If they know, they know.

Rubber Ducks may be used to create diversions. But most players use it to hoard and spruce up their shelf, which is what trinkets are for anyway.
