Frequency Modulation Boxes are a rare Exodus material in Arc Raiders. You will need them for Expedition Project 2, which makes them a highly sought after item right now. Here's everything you need to know to find the Frequency Modulation Box in Arc Raiders
What are Frequency Modulation Boxes used for?
Frequency Modulation Boxes are specifically required in Stage 4 of the Expedition Project 2, where you must turn in 5 Frequency Modulation Boxes alongside Advanced Electronic Components, Ion Sputters, and Leaper Pulse Units.

The item can also be recycled into crafting materials, helping you scale into higher-end technology once Expedition goals are secured. Because Stage 4 is a bottleneck with low natural drop rates, planning your farming routes around Exodus zones saves a lot of time later.
Frequency Modulation Box Map Locations
Stella Montis is the main map for Frequency Modulation Boxes. Unlike more generic materials that show up in residential or commercial zones, Frequency Modulation Boxes are strongly tied to Exodus interiors.
Another location for the Frequency Modulation Boxes is the Rocket Assembly building on Spaceport. It's best to use both maps and rotate between raids.
Stella Montis
On Stella Montis, your best chance to see Frequency Modulation Boxes comes from the Assembly area, especially the Assembly Workshops and surrounding industrial corridors.

You should also include the Business Center in your route, as it frequently contains additional Exodus-rich interiors that can spawn Frequency Modulation Boxes.

Spaceport
Rocket Assembly on Spaceport is one of the few non–Stella Montis buildings that are tagged for Exodus loot. Runs here are usually less contested and can feel safer if you want fewer PvP engagements.

In these above areas, make sure to check every container that you can. Even if it's been looted before, still give a peek. Raiders sometimes miss things and you could get lucky. Do it for everything - lockers, drawers, tool cabinets, and technical workstations.
If you do a good sweep at the right places, you're bound to find not only the Frequency Modulation boxes but also other items like Ion Sputters.
