The Equalizer stands as one of Arc Raiders' most specialized weapons. Unlike the Jupiter's precision approach, the Equalizer uses sustained automatic fire to melt through armor rapidly. This guide explains where to find the Equalizer Blueprint and how to craft this powerful energy weapon.

Complete the Harvester event to get the Equalizer Blueprint

The Equalizer Blueprint is obtained exclusively through the Harvester event, which mirrors the Jupiter Blueprint acquisition method.

Step 1

Check the Arc Raiders event timer to identify when Harvester is active. Harvester events typically occur at 1:00-2:00 UTC, 9:00-10:00 UTC, 15:00-16:00 UTC, and 21:00-22:00 UTC. Queue for a raid during these windows on Dam Battlegrounds or Acerra Spaceport.

Step 2

Prepare essential gear before entering. Acquire a zipline from Apollo Trader to create an emergency escape route. Stock up on healing supplies, ammunition, and equip strong weapons for the event.

Step 3

Land on the map and navigate to the Harvester location. On Dam Battlegrounds, approach from the southeast near Red Lake, away from The Queen's initial patrol path. Avoid direct confrontation with The Queen by moving when her back faces the Harvester entrance.

Step 4

Sprint to one of the three breach doors and interact to unlock it when The Queen patrols away. Entering quickly prevents the boss from tracking your position. Once inside, close the door to create temporary safety.

Step 5

Navigate the interior chamber and locate three fusion cores scattered throughout. These power cells must be inserted into the central pillar before each fire phase begins. The Harvester launches probe attacks every 45 seconds, igniting the interior in flames and opening three exhaust shutters.

Step 6

Insert the fusion cores into the central pillar.

After all three cores are installed, the Harvester releases electromagnetic pulses that drain shields and stun players.

Yellow button panels appear on walls—12 total across ground and upper levels. Using melee attacks proves more effective than gunfire for destroying these buttons, and it avoids attracting The Queen's attention from outside.

Step 7

Once all yellow buttons are destroyed, three loot containers drop from the central pillar. Each typically contains one legendary blueprint—either Equalizer or Jupiter. Open all three containers to collect any blueprints and valuable ARC materials.

Step 8

Breach the remaining panels on the upper inner ledge and loot containers completely.

Peek outside to confirm The Queen patrols away from your location, then sprint to the nearest extraction point or use a Raider's Hatch key to exit safely.

Unlocking the Equalizer Blueprint

After extracting with the Equalizer Blueprint, return to Speranza base. Access inventory and locate the blueprint item in the bottom section. Select the blueprint and choose "Learn and Consume" to permanently unlock the recipe. This action consumes the blueprint but adds Equalizer crafting to the Gunsmith station permanently. Additional blueprints can be sold for 5,000 coins each if duplicate drops occur.

Materials and crafting requirements for Equalizer

Crafting the Equalizer demands three specific materials at Gunsmith level 3.

Material Quantity Source
Magnetic Accelerator 3 Dropped by The Queen, found in ARC debris, or recycled from Queen Reactor
Complex Gun Parts 3 Crafted at Refiner 3 using 1 Light Gun Parts + 1 Medium Gun Parts + 1 Heavy Gun Parts
Queen Reactor 1 Dropped exclusively by defeating The Queen boss during Harvester events

Equalizer weapon performance

The Equalizer's 266.64 DPS makes it one of the highest sustained damage outputs against armored targets in Arc Raiders. The weapon's 50-round magazine enables continuous pressure without magazine changes, ideal for extended engagements with heavily armored ARC units.

During Harvester encounters, an Equalizer wielder can solo The Queen's armor in extended fire-and-retreat cycles. Against player opponents, the Equalizer's low mobility and inability to suppress makes it vulnerable to repositioning enemies. The weapon excels in fixed positions or corridor engagements where mobility matters less than sustained firepower.
