Durable Cloth: Location and How to get
The Durable Cloth can be got in one of three ways - Scavenging, Crafting, or Recycling.
Scavenging
Durable Cloth is most commonly found in medical and commercial buildings scattered throughout the four maps.
Containers, cabinets, and shelves in these locations are prime spots to search. Residential areas can also sometimes yield Durable Cloth, but medical and commercial zones are more reliable.

These are, generally speaking, where you're bound to find them. But you can also chance upon them while looting, scavenging in other areas. For instance, we found it on a dead raider near the Testing Annex building (to the right of Scrap Yard and Wreckage) on the Dam Battlegrounds map.
Crafting
You can also craft a durable cloth. For this, you will need the following:
- 14x Fabric
- Refiner I (Workshop)
Recycling
There are also a few items that yield a durable cloth when recycle. These are:
- Ripped Safety Vest
- Spring Cushion
Durable Cloth itself recycles into 6x Fabric (at the Refiner), or, if salvaged, only 2x Fabric.
Durable Cloth: Known Uses
Durable Cloth is a must-have in crafting several medical supplies and workshop upgrades. These are:
- Herbal Bandage: Requires 1 Durable Cloth and 3 Great Mullein at Medical Lab 2.
- Sterilized Bandage: Requires 2 Durable Cloth and 1 Antiseptic at Medical Lab 2.
- Medical Lab 2 Upgrade: Requires 5 Durable Cloth, 2 Cracked Bioscanner, and 8 Tick Pod.
- Core System Project: Requires 35 Durable Cloth, 30 Wires, 30 Electrical Components, and 5 Cooling Fan to level up Core System (2/6) to Framework (3/6).
Durable Cloth is a highly versatile material that is crucial for medical supplies and workshops. So make sure always to pocket it and never let it go to waste.
