In ARC Raiders, the Dormant Baron quest is given by the NPC Shani. Your mission is to track down a dormant Baron Husk, a large spider-like mechanical creature, and loot it for valuable resources, including an ARC Powercell. The Baron Husk locations are not marked on the regular map, so you’ll need to switch to satellite view to spot them.
A Dormant Baron: Objectives
- Loot a Baron husk
Scene
"During the First Wave, the Barons did more damage than all the other machines combined. Now they're mere husks; fixed in place where they once fell.... Still, their internals might hold the answer to keeping ARC at bay. So open one up, and bring me whatever is inside."

A Dormant Baron: Rewards

A Dormant Baron: Locations
The Dormant Baron can be completed on any of the three maps — Spaceport, Dam Battlegrounds, or Bluegate. In Dam Battlegrounds, the Baron Husk is found in the South Swamp Outpost and The Breach.

Baron Husk - South Swamp Outpost
A Dormant Baron: Step-by-step guide
Reach the South Swamp Outpost near the dam where the Baron Husk is located. Both areas have several drones for guarding the husk, so be ready for combat or a stealth approach.
Once you reach the Baron Husk, climb to the top of the mechanical spider where you will find a seal that needs to be broken.
Break the seal on the Baron Husk and quickly grab the ARC Powercell which is the main quest item. The Baron Husk will explode seconds after the seal is broken. Move away fast to avoid damage and survive.
Extract carefully and claim the rewards from the quests tab.

Tips
- Be prepared for drone combat—the areas around the Baron Husks are heavily guarded by ARC drones.
- Move away fast after looting to avoid taking damage from the explosion.
