ARC Raiders Update 1.7.2 rolled out on December 18, 2025, delivering a hotfix across all platforms in response to player feedback following the Cold Snap update. Players can access the patch by restarting their Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, or Xbox client.

One of the key changes adjusts blueprint drop rates from raider containers. While the drop frequency has been slightly toned down, developers confirm it still remains more generous than it was prior to Update 1.7.0, striking a balance between rewarding raids and preventing inventory overload.

The Hidden Bunker has also reopened after being temporarily disabled. In addition, a long-standing issue where repeated interaction attempts—especially under unstable network conditions—could lock players out has now been fixed, allowing for smoother looting and extraction.

During Cold Snap events, indoor areas are no longer susceptible to cold damage, thanks to newly added protection volumes. AMD GPU users will also see an updated driver warning aimed at reducing crash risks.

Quest stability has been improved as well. The bug preventing proper item spawns in “Unexpected Initiative” has been resolved, ensuring the quest can now be completed as intended. With stability fixes and quality-of-life improvements in place, Update 1.7.2 focuses on keeping raids fair, functional, and frost-free indoors.

  • Blueprint drop rates have been slightly lowered, but are still higher overall than before the 1.7.0 update.
  • Hidden Bunker has been re-enabled.
  • Fixed an issue where spamming the interact input while having a bad connection would make players unable to perform the interact action.
  • Added missing volumes to make sure inside areas don’t deal cold damage during Cold Snap.
  • Updated the driver warning for AMD GPUs.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the ‘Unexpected Initiative’ quest to not spawn quest items making it impossible to complete.
