What to know
- ChatGPT might integrate Apple Music as an app.
- The Apple Music integration will follow other big inclusions such as Spotify and Adobe.
- If integrated, you'll be able to turn on the app from ChatGPT Settings > Apps & Connectors, then ask ChatGPT your queries involving Apple Music.
Apple Music could soon join the ever expanding list of apps that are integrated into ChatGPT. The possibility was first mentioned by OpenAI's CEO of applications, Fidji Simo in his Substack post talking about ChatGPT's updated AI image generator.
However, the post was later updated and the mention of Apple Music was removed. So you may not see it in the list of apps that could be integrated into ChatGPT. Whether it was done to maintain secrecy or hide indecision, it does indicate a move to capturing bigger apps in the market.
OpenAI has already integrated a number of apps into ChatGPT like Spotify, Adobe, and Canva, and announced several more. It won't be a surprise to see Apple Music join the club soon and bring a new way for Apple Music users to interact with their music, that is, through an AI chatbot.
If included, you'll be able to ask ChatGPT to curate Apple Music playlists, find songs and artists quickly, and do other things with natural language that an intelligent bot like ChatGPT can deliver.

Like other app integrations, controls for Apple Music will live inside ChatGPT's settings > Apps & Connectors. To invoke it, you can select the app from the prompt box or simply tell ChatGPT to use Apple Music to answer your queries.
