Apple has unveiled its latest iMac, bringing a fresh wave of innovation to its iconic all-in-one desktop computer. The new 24-inch iMac is equipped with Apple’s cutting-edge M4 chip, built on TSMC’s 3nm process technology.
The standout feature is the 24-inch 4.5K Retina display, boasting 500 nits brightness and support for 1 billion colors. Apple is also offering a nano-texture glass option that reduces glare, making it suitable for even sun-drenched spaces.
Under the hood, the M4 chip delivers impressive performance gains. The new iMac handles everyday tasks 1.7x faster than its M1 predecessor, while photo editing and gaming see up to 2.1x improvement. The 16-core Neural Engine powers Apple Intelligence features, transforming how users work and communicate.
The new iMac comes in a spectrum of seven vibrant colors – green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. The color scheme extends to the matching Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad, creating a cohesive aesthetic.
For connectivity, the higher-end models feature up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports, while all variants include USB-C ports, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The device also sports a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View capability and a six-speaker system supporting Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos.
