The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has been spotted on Geekbench running Android 7.0. This can be taken as confirmation that the tablet is in line for the Nougat upgrade soon.
The Geekbench listing tells us that the model number of the device goes by SM-T719 which happens to be an upgraded variant of the Galaxy Tab S2. The newer variant came into existence a few months ago last year. With a 2048 x 1536 pixel display and 3GB of RAM, the tablet is indeed capable of some heavy lifting.

Those of you who own the older, original variant of the Tab S2 8.0-inch need not fret. The older variant should also be in line to receive the update to Nougat.
As for the successor to the Tab S2, the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 was spotted at FCC before its official launch which is about two weeks from now.
