Only a couple of days after rolling out the stable Android 10-based One UI 2 build in Germany, Samsung has started making the highly-anticipated ROM available across multiple markets.
The release carries software version G973FXXU3BSKO in all available regions — India, the UAE, Vietnam, the UK, Ireland, Poland, Panama, Spain, and France — and carries the December 2019 security patch alongside Google’s latest OS.
The update weighs around 2.2GB for users who didn’t participate in the beta program, so, make sure to connect to Wi-Fi before hitting that download button. Beta users, on the other hand, are getting promoted to the stable variant through a ~140MB update.
As affirmed by multiple beta releases, One UI 2 doesn’t bring too many visual changes and looks almost identical to last year’s Android Pie-based One UI. Android 10’s dark mode, revamped navigation gestures, and Digital Wellbeing enhancements have made their way into the release, of course, making Samsung’s latest release worth having a look at.
If you belong to any of the regions mentioned above, you should’ve gotten the automatic update notification by now. But in case you haven’t, you could look for it simply by going to Settings, tapping on Software update, and hitting Download and install.
