Walkthrough

Here is how you can complete An Unnatural Omen lost chapter in Where Winds Meet:

Step 1: Reach the Fort's top level

Travelling from the ethereal mountain boundary stone, you will discover an unnatural omen on your way. You need to investigate the disturbance and make your way to the top level of the fort. Here you find the Xuanyuan Cult Members. Knock them all out and find the crying person.

Step 2: Talk to the Crying person

The crying person is Suan Sanchun. He sits near the edge of the floor. Talk to him about the Azure Dragon.

Step 3: Azure Dragon facing the Sun

Using your mouse and keyboard, track the Azure Dragon and make it face East to look towards the Sun. As it unlocks, you can use the elevator to go deeper into the Fort.

Step 4: Explore the Area to get the clue

As you enter the quest area, you will be able to see a Bagua Symbol. And here you get the first clue - Tattered Eight Trigrams. A final letter, along with this, can also be picked here.

Step 5: Open the Chamber Door

Using the keyboard, unlock the door mechanism. The Tattered Eight Trigrams clue can be used to check the actual pattern on the wheel. Match the symbols on all 3 rings and it unlocks the door for you.

Step 6: Explore Deeper

After entering the chamber, activate the elevator to get to the lower level. Here, defeat the Xuanyuan Star Servants and collect chest.

Step 7: Ethereal Chamber Boundary Stone

Activate the elevator again to reach another lower level. Unlock the boundary stone for Ethereal Chamber here.

Step 8: Explore Ethereal Chamber

As you get inside the chamber, you will have to deal with more Xuanyuan Star Servants, Cult Members, and finally the Luminarch. Knock them all out and explore the chamber. Destroy Moon Disks on the target to break their forms.

Step 9: Talk to Jin Zhongyuan

The elder, Jin Zhongyuan, tells you about the omen. He says, 'flying stars turn to the Central Palace. Three enclosures are where spirit pearls hide.'

After learning about the Omen, you receive a Tattered Four Symbol Chart. This is a clue for the next objective.

Step 10: Open the Star Chamber

To open the Star Chamber door, using Q and E, rotate the upper section of the observatory chamber. Rotate it till the time you can see the Azure Dragon above the crown of the door.

Step 11: Find the 1st Mystic Pearl

Enter the new unlocked area. To get the Mystic Pearl, solve the constellation puzzle. Move the rings using Q and E and use W and S to switch between them. Move them in a way that the constellation on the rings lights up. You will know the ring has been placed correctly when the constellation lights up.

Step 12: Make a Choice

In the cutscene, triggered after the constellation puzzle, you see memories of victims of Xuanyuan. Here, you will be asked to make a choice - 'Regret' or 'Do Not Regret.' Choosing either would reward you with the Mystic Pearl - North Star Orb Heavenly Market.

Step 13: Return the 1st Mystic Pearl

Go back to Jin Zhongyuan and return the Mystic Pearl. Talk about the next requirement.

Step 14: Open the Second Chamber

To open the second star chamber, rotate the lower section of the observatory room. Rotate it till you get the symbol shown in the image.

Step 15: Solve the Second Constellation Puzzle

To get the next orb, solve the constellation puzzle. Move the rings using Q and E and use W and S to switch between them. Move them in a way that the constellation on the rings lights up. You will know the ring has been placed correctly when the constellation lights up.

Step 16: Find the 2nd Mystic Pearl

After solving the second constellation puzzle, a cutscene begins where A'yuan and his brother are in a conversation. Make a choice - 'Good' or 'Villain.' Choosing either will reward you with Brocade - North Star Orb Supreme Palace.

Step 17: Return the 2nd Mystic Pearl

Go back to Jin Zhongyuan and return the Mystic Pearl. Talk about the third requirement.

Step 18: Open the Third Chamber Door

To open the third chamber door, the upper section of the observatory room should lock with a phoenix statue, and the lower section should align this pattern (from top to bottom) - - / – / – .

Step 19: Solve the Third Constellation puzzle

This puzzle is a little tricky. Minimum 2 rings move together. Use Q, E, W, and S keys slowly to lock in each ring properly. Move them in a way that the constellation on the rings lights up. You will know the ring has been placed correctly when the constellation lights up.

Step 20: Find the 3rd Mystic Pearl

The constellation puzzle triggers another cutscene. Here, A'yuan is being guided by a mysterious voice that persuades him to kill the victims. Make a choice: 'Kill' or 'Spare.' Choosing either will reward you North Star Orb Purple Star.

Step 21: Return to Zhongyuan

Go back to Jin Zhongyuan and return the Mystic Pearl. But as you find him in the observatory, the elder Jin Zhongyuan is not present. You fight with the Inner Demon of Zhongyuan.
