What to know
- Amazon Music Unlimited users in the US, UK, and Canada get one free audiobook monthly from Audible.
- Users can pick any audiobook and keep listening even after choosing next month’s title.
- The service costs $9.99 monthly for Prime members and $10.99 for non-Prime users.
Amazon Music Unlimited now gives subscribers one free audiobook each month from Audible. The feature launched on November 19 for users in the US, UK, and Canada.
The service combines music streaming with audiobooks from Audible’s collection of over 1 million titles. Users can select any audiobook without length restrictions and continue listening even after picking their next month’s book.
This addition makes Amazon a stronger competitor to Spotify in the audiobook market. While Spotify gives Premium users 15 hours of audiobook time, Amazon lets users finish entire books without time limits.
Users wanting more audiobooks can still buy an Audible membership from $7.95 or purchase extra titles through the Audible app.
New users can try Music Unlimited free for three months. After that, Prime members pay $9.99 monthly or $99 yearly, while others pay $10.99 monthly.
The service will include new content like a Harry Potter audio series coming in 2025, featuring multiple voice actors and enhanced sound.
