What to know
- Gauntlets are forged weapons, mostly not unlocked through recipes
- You need to keep in mind the ore count and rarity influence weapon type and stats
- Around 7–9 ores gives a you a reliable chance at Gauntlets
- Forging quality and performance directly affects final quality of your gauntlets
Gauntlets in The Forge are melee combat weapons designed for close-quarters fighting and fast attack speed. They aren’t unlocked through standard “recipes” you buy from NPCs — instead, they are forged from ores at the Forge station using the game’s crafting system.
Where crafting happens in the world
All weapon crafting takes place at the main Forge station located in Stonewake’s Cross. This central hub is where you interact with the anvil to access the forging interface and combine your ores into weapons. Since the new update, you can craft gauntlets in Frostpire Expanse and the Forgotten Kingdom's Forge too. Find Sensei Moro and the Forge station in each island to craft rare gauntlets.
Types of gauntlets in the Forge
1 - Ironhand
- The base gauntlet type with the fastest attack speed among gauntlets.
- Balanced for quick continuous hits.
2 - Boxing Gloves
- A variant of the gauntlet with slightly higher base damage than Ironhand but a bit slower.
- Good for close-quarters combat.
3 - Relevator
- A heavier gauntlet variant with the highest base damage among the three.
- Slower attack speed but stronger hits.
How to gather the right ores
Ores are the foundation of forging in The Forge. You mine them from rocks using pickaxes throughout the map, and each ore type has:
- A rarity level (common → uncommon → rare → epic → legendary → mythical).
- A multiplier effect that influences weapon damage or defense.
- Trait effects like crit chance, burn, explosion, or other special properties when used in crafting.
Some well-known ore effects for weapon forging:
- Magmaite boosts explosion chance.
- Fireite adds burn traits.
- Rivalite improves crit traits.
- Darkryte increases base damage multipliers.
It’s normal — and often beneficial — to mix ore tiers in one recipe, as long as they synergize well. Beebom High-rarity ores produce better weapons but might make specific weapon categories (like Gauntlets) rarer if you overshoot the optimal ore count.

Tips to improve your forge results
Here are some expert tips to make your Gauntlets even better:
1. Master the Mini-Games:
Consistently performing well in the heating, casting, and hammering segments increases your final quality tier significantly. Don’t rush — practice makes perfect.
2. Use Ore Trait Thresholds:
Certain ores only grant their special effects when they make up enough of the mixture. Aim for key trait ores to hit that threshold for better overall weapon effects.
3. Plan Ore Farming Routes:
Target deeper caves and mid/late-game zones for rarer ores instead of spending too much time on common ore. This cuts down crafting cycles and gives you stronger gear fast
Crafting notes & strategies
- Ore count influences weapon size: fewer ores (around 7–9) favor small, fast weapons like Gauntlets; more ores trend toward larger weapons.
- Ore traits activate when that ore’s percentage in the mix meets a certain threshold, so strategic proportions matter.
- Good mining, pickaxe upgrades, and smart ore gathering improve your overall forging success — gather high-tier ores before attempting high-stat builds.

Gauntlet crafting in The Forge rewards experimentation and consistency. By using enough ores, prioritizing rarer materials, and mastering the forge mini-games, you greatly improve your chances of walking away with a powerful melee weapon that fits your playstyle.
