Roblox's The Forge received a big balancing update on 28th December. The weekly 'Saturday' update this time has nerfed a few multipliers, traits, and runes while buffing the Boss system. Here's everything you need to know about the 28.12.2025 update to The Forge.

ORE MULTIPLIERS
- GARGANTUAN - 33.3x -> 25x
- HEAVENITE - 25x -> 20x
- SURYAFAL - 17.5x -> 15x
ORE TRAITS
- MOSASAURSIT - Removed traits from weapon. Health Boost 65% -> 35%
- CRIMSONITE - Removed trait from armor.
- URANIUM - Trait 5% -> 1.2% but is now stackable. You can have uranium on all 3 armor slots to reach up to 3.6%.

RUNES
- Life Steal [5% / 13%] -> [4% / 11%]. Also maximum healing limits at 8% of maximum health per healing done.
BOSS SYSTEM
- Boss Base HP increased 15000 -> 25000
- Boss DMG increased
- Boss Timer 60 Min -> 30 Min

BLUEPRINTS
- Hell Slayer Chance 1/20 -> 1/10
How the changes impact gameplay
You'll notice these buffs and nerfs reshape your forging strategy right away. That means you'll have to optimize armor stacking and boss prep before tackling tougher encounters.

Specifically, you will have to rely less on single powerful traits. Instead, lean into Uranium stacking across all armor pieces for cumulative damage boosts - you can hit 3.6% total now.

Test Life Steal sparingly since healing caps limit its value in boss runs. Prioritize group play for the beefier bosses, as solo M1 attacks feel punishing with the doubled HP and shorter timer.

However, the nerfs hit the ore economy the hardest. Make sure to stockpile before pushing Frostpire Expanse bosses. Expect 2-3 taps from their amped damage even in solid gear. No direct rewards table exists yet, but tougher bosses may yield better essences indirectly; farm strategically to offset multiplier losses.
