With this partnership, YouTube now provides creators exclusive and dedicated tools to create content, encouraging the use of their partner's (Adobe's) tools instead of their competitor's like Edits by Meta or CapCut by TikTok's parent company ByteDance.

While the content created and edited in Premiere's mobile app can be shared on other platforms, it is designed to ideally work for YouTube Shorts. For instance, if you like a Short in your feed, you can use its template and launch it directly for editing in Premiere's mobile app.

There are several template options in the YouTube Shorts Templates Gallery. Templates for YouTube Shorts include built-in text, effects, and transition presets that you can add your media to and upload instantly to YouTube.

Customizing a template is simple too. Simply tap the 'Create for YouTube Shorts' icon and access exclusive effects, transitions, and editing tools. Then edit your content as usual.
