Android 7.0 Nougat features customizable quick settings tiles to enable/disable services on an Android device. But the functionality can be extended to more productive uses like adding weather info into a tile so you don’t have to open a weather app.
Developer Florian Möhle has published a smart little app to add Weather info to quick settings tile on Android Nougat. Check out the full description of the app below:
This app let’s you add a small Weather Tile to your Quick Settings Bar on Android Nougat!
The text shows you the current temperature while a small icon displays one of 12 different weather conditions.
Clicking the tile will update the weather data while double tapping will open up a dialogYou can configure the widget by double tapping it and change, whether you want to use Celsius or Fahrenheit, if there should be a small weather description and how often it should refresh automatically.
