Acer has announced a new smartphone at CES 2015 running on a 64-bit SoC quad-core processor, Acer Liquid Z410. The device is a budget-friendly phone priced at EUR 129 (Rs. 9,767 approx.) and will coming to Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) in February 2015.
Acer Liquid Z410 specs include a 4.5-inch qHD display with resolution of 540×960 pixels (245 ppi). The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and should be upgradeable to Lollipop. The processor on the device is MediaTek MT6732 64-bit SoC coupled with 1GB RAM and a Mali-T760 GPU.
The best thing about the device is its front facing speaker setup with DTS Studio Sound technology. And there’s also a button positioned below the camera on back which Acer calls a AcerRAPID key that allows allows users to set customizable actions when pressed.
Camera setup on the Acer Liquid Z410 is decent with a 5MP camera on the back and 2MP on front. The battery isn’t specified in the press release but Acer tells us that it’ll last for 5.5 hours over calls and upto 400 hours in standby.
