Remember the Acer Iconia Tab A700 that we had written about way back in June? Well, the Full HD screen touting, Tegra 3 powered tablet from Acer just got a price drop over at Netherlands, Europe.
The Acer Iconia, which was originally launched for €549 in Europe, earlier this year, is now going for €399, which is a pretty big drop of €150, almost 30% off the original price. For the kind of specs and features that the Acer Iconia packs, €399 is quite a bargain, and if you are looking for a feature packed tablet, on a €400 budget, this could be an excellent device to spend your money on. And oh, did I mention that the A700 just received the official update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean just a few weeks ago? So there you go, while the hardware specs are more than impressive, now you don’t have to worry about the software being dated either.
Have a look at the key specs of the Acer Iconia Tab A700:
- 10.1 inch Full HD display – 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution
- 1.3 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 1 GB RAM
- 32GB Internal Storage / expandable microSD slot
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
- 5 MP Rear Camera / HD capable secondary camera
- 9800 mAh Battery
Pretty impressive for €399, wouldn’t you think. There aren’t too many FullHD capable tablets out there currently, and the ones that are, like the Asus Transformer Infinity, would cost you a lot more.
Would you getting one for yourself then?
