Acer has today announced the Iconia Tab 10 alongside a slightly lower-end Iconia One 10 tablet prior to the commencement of the Computex event. Both these tablets, as the name itself suggest, feature a 10-inch display and are aimed to cater to different needs of tablet users.
While Acer didn’t entirely reveal details regarding the specifications of these tablets, it did share some of the information surrounding internals. According to which, both these tablets are powered by a quad-core MediaTek chipset.
Also, the Iconia Tab 10 and Iconia One 10 feature a wide-angle IPS display alongside DTS-HD rated speakers. As mentioned above, each of these tablets caters to different needs of users. While the former is multimedia-centric, the latter aims at providing better connectivity.

As a result, the Iconia Tab 10 gets a quantum dot display which according to Acer will offer wider color spectrum as well as higher brightness and saturation levels. It also has a quad-speaker setup with an inbuilt subwoofer. On the flip side, the Iconia One 10 lacks a quantum dot display but comes with two Micro USB ports for better connectivity.
Both the tablets come with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-loaded with a layer of the company’s custom UI on top. Acer claims that both these tablets will offer 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The company didn’t reveal any details regarding the pricing or the availability of the Iconia Tab 10 or Iconia One 10 tablets. We will, however, keep you posted should something solid surface online.
