Best Bows you can own in AC Valhalla

Bows on their own are a pretty important piece of weaponry in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla but if you want to shortlist the best ones to use to battle enemies and have a fighting chance every time, you should stick to the following ones that we think are the best.

Petra’s Arc Bow

Offering the highest attack among any other bow in the game, Petra’s Arc can inflict an increased Critical Damage if your health bar is full. Headshots with this bow will cause extra damage to the opponent and with such a high Stuff effect, even a single shot from the bow should weaken your enemies. You can get this strongest bow of them all by defeating one of the legendary animals, Aelfred’s Battle-Sow at Tuicca’s Farm in Suthsexe, England.

Shadow-Strike Bow

Here’s another Predator Bow but this time something that originates from the Raven clan. Unlike the one mentioned above, if you’re feeling too lazy to win boss fights or explore the map, you can still get your hands on a remarkable bow by simply buying it from the In-game store. Like Petra’s Arc, the Shadow-Strike also offers high attack properties but with a slightly lower stun effect than its Wolf-aligned counterpart.

Arc of Elan Bow

This bow is one of the best Hunter Bows you can draw your arrows with as it provides you with high-level attacking and Stun effect. The Arc of Elan Bow can be perfect for damaging the opponent’s health with headshot skills and gives you increased Ability Damage if shooting at the enemy successively. This bow is offered to you as a gift from Bristanafter after you help him with one of the story quests that take place in Essexe.

Hunbeorth’s Bow

Light bows might not be something that you may prefer as they inflict less damage on your opponent but the Hunbeorth’s Bow stands out from the rest. This bow lets you draw and shoot arrows faster but at the same time, its attack and stun properties are equally high thus making it an all-rounder in terms of speed and fighting prowess. Like other high-level weapons, the Hunbeorth’s Bow also can only be earned after completing one of the main story quests in the game as a gift from Aelfgar in Lincolnscire.

How to use a Bow in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Using a Bow and Arrow is a pretty easy affair in Assassins Creed Valhalla and it doesn’t need you to learn a lot before you get on with it.

If you’re playing the game on a console, you can press LT or L2 keys to aim an arrow at the enemy. Once you’ve pointed the arrow on to the enemy’s head or body, you can press RT or R2 keys on your controller to shoot the arrow.

You should know that, at any point during the game, aiming your arrows at the enemy’s head will inflict more damage to them, kill them faster or stun them to more extent than shooting one to their body.

If you’re playing Assassins Creed Valhalla on your PC, the default controls on the PC let you aim by pressing and holding the Right mouse button and firing the bow with the Left mouse button.

How to get more arrows in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Where to get Arrows Assassin

Unlike Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you cannot craft arrows using raw materials in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. So, if you run out of them inside the game, there are only two ways to get more arrows in your quiver.

The first way to buy arrows for different bows – light, hunting, and predator from merchants all around Valhalla. Each of these arrows will be available for different prices and offer different damage properties.

The second and the more affordable way of getting more arrows is to loot chests and dead bodies whenever you can inside the game. Search for cylindrical vessels containing arrows inside towers and camps to get a constant supply of arrows.

How to carry more arrows in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Assassin

While you can loot as many arrows as you can in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the only possible way that you can store extra arrows is by upgrading your Quiver from time to time. You can upgrade your Quiver by going to the Inventory Menu inside the game but in order to upgrade, you need to collect Leather and Iron Ore.

What do you think about the Bows that are available to you in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla? Which one would you most likely use throughout the game?
