Location and How to Start
The quest takes place in the Qinghe region, near Bodhi Sea and Finsteed Hamlet.
First complete A Toast to Destiny: Part 1. Then play a game of Pitch Pot. Once triggered, the quest begins: you’ll need to go to the “Lone Drinker’s house” to start the first objective.
Walkthrough
Step 1
Go to the Lone Drinker’s home. Inside, you’ll notice the house is empty—Qiu Pingsheng is nowhere to be found.
Step 2
Wait for him to come home, set the in-game to Wei hour.
Step 3
Go outside, and you’ll meet Madam Zheng, the housekeeper Qiu recently hired. She informs you that Qiu Pingsheng has passed away and that he died alone, with no living family or friends.
Step 4
Return inside the house. You’ll find a letter on the table—Qiu’s Last Words, which reveal his regrets and a request for you to recover a keepsake he once buried.
Step 5
Head to the courtyard behind the house. Move the stones on the ground to uncover the hidden items Qiu mentioned.
Step 6
Below the stones, you’ll find two objects:
- A jar of fine aged wine
- A jade flute
Step 7
You’ll also find another letter explaining the significance of the jade flute and the friend connected to it.
Step 8
Visit Qiu Pingsheng’s grave, bury the jade flute as he requested and make the offering to complete the quest.
