A Clean Break Walkthrough - A Safehouse in the Hills - GTA 5 Online

A Clean Break is an intense and fast-paced mission, part of the  GTA 5 Online’s A Safehouse in the Hills update. In this mission, you team up with Avi Schwartzman to hack the FIB database.

The mission involves getting arrested by the police and then hacking the FIB database from their headquarters. After hacking, you have to flee through a chopper to Avi's location. The mission blends fighting and driving challenges in an action-packed manner.

How to start the mission

Find Avi Schwartzman. Set a waypoint to the contact mission.

Reach the Dollar Pills building on Strawberry Davis Ave and find the ringing payphone.

Talk on the payphone to get a briefing on the mission and objectives from Avi. The mission will officially begin here.

Walkthrough

Follow these steps to complete the A Clean Break mission in GTA Online:

Step 1: Collect the Hacking Device

Pick up the hacking device from the white van.

Step 2: Wait for the FIB to arrive and get arrested.

Collect the hacking device from the nearby black van to start the mission. FIB will be coming to arrest you. Surrender to them. They will take you to FIB headquarters.

Step 3: Escape the interrogation room

Escape the interrogation room as soon as the officer walks out. Retrieve your weapons, phone, and the hacking device. Find the emergency protocol handbook to identify the lock wire to open the door.

Pick the red wire to open the door.

Step 4: Collect the hacking device.

Locate and collect the hacking device. In the process, you also have to fight with the FIB guards.

Step 5: Hack the FIB database

Locate the main office and enter it to hack the FIB database. To hack it, you have to arrange the circuit blocks to create a continuous line between the start and the end points. You have a minute to complete it.

Step 6: Go to the roof.

Use the stairs to move to the roof. Knock down all FIB agents who get in the way.

Step 7: Enter the Swift chopper.

Kill the guards on the roof and enter the chopper. Locate Avi's position and move towards it.

Step 8: Return the hacking device to Avi.

The chopper will get hit by a missile, and you will crash. Find the seashark boat to escape.

Fight with enemies on the way and return the hacking device to Avi. You will find him on a small ship. He will give you the money and will ask you to go undercover for a time.
