What to know
- Hybrid races let you appear as another faction and access their worlds, missions, and social activities.
- The process requires creating and upgrading an organization (guild).
- Hybrid status does not provide any combat buffs or stat increases.
- The change is fully reversible, allowing you to switch back whenever you want.
VV: Ultimatum gives players a unique way to experience content from multiple factions through the hybrid race system. Whether you want the appearance of another race, access to different home worlds, or simply play with friends from opposing factions, becoming a hybrid race makes it possible. The system is primarily designed for social and cosmetic purposes rather than gameplay advantages.
How the hybrid race system works
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Main Purpose | Access other factions, worlds, and missions |
| Combat Benefits | None |
| Cost | 2,000 Soul Tokens |
| Starting Location | Fort Adams |
| NPC Required | Organization Manager |
| Reversible | Yes |
| Guild Upgrade Needed | Yes |
| Alternative Method | Cross-slot organization setup |
A hybrid race in VV: Ultimatum allows your character to take on the race identity associated with a guild while retaining your existing progression. This means a Quincy can become a Quincy-Arrancar, a Soul Reaper can gain access to another faction’s social features, and players can interact more easily across faction boundaries.

The biggest benefit is flexibility. You can join friends on different home worlds, participate in activities that would normally be restricted by race, and unlock cosmetic appearances associated with another faction.
Location of the Organization Manager
The entire process begins at Fort Adams. Here you will find the Organization Manager NPC, who handles organization creation and management. Interact with the NPC by holding the interaction key and selecting the option to create a new organization.

Before visiting the NPC, make sure you have enough Soul Tokens available, as organization creation requires an upfront investment.
How to create an organization
Travel to Fort Adams and locate the Organization Manager. Interact with the NPC and choose the option to create a new organization.

Pay the required 2,000 Soul Tokens fee. Complete the organization creation process and access the guild management menu.
At this point, your organization is active but still needs additional upgrades before race conversion becomes available.
How to unlock race conversion
Open the organization menu after creating your guild. Navigate to the Upgrade tab.
Purchase the required organization upgrades that unlock member conversion features. Continue upgrading until the race conversion option becomes available.

The exact upgrade path may vary depending on future updates, but race conversion functionality is tied directly to organization progression.
How to convert your character into a hybrid race
Once the necessary upgrades have been unlocked, converting your character becomes straightforward. Here is how you convert to hybrid race:
- Open your organization’s management interface.
- Locate the race conversion feature.
- Select the race associated with your organization.
- Confirm the conversion.
Your character will now become a hybrid version of that race, granting access to its related social and world features.

Using the cross-slot method
Players with multiple character slots can simplify the process through a cross-slot setup. Here is how to do it:
- Create an organization on one character slot.
- Upgrade the organization until race conversion is unlocked.
- Invite your other character to the organization.
- Use the conversion feature on the invited character.
This method is particularly useful if you want a specific race combination without changing your primary character’s organizational setup.
Hybrid race benefits
| Benefit | Description |
|---|---|
| Cosmetic Appearance | Gain the look and identity of another faction |
| Social Freedom | Party with players from different factions more easily |
| Home World Access | Visit faction-specific areas |
| Additional Missions | Participate in activities tied to the converted race |
| Raid Access | Join content associated with the new faction |
Can you switch back?
Yes. The system is fully reversible.
If you decide you no longer want your hybrid race, simply join an organization associated with your original race and use the conversion process again. This makes experimentation relatively risk-free since you are not permanently locking your character into a specific hybrid identity.
Why players use hybrid races
Most players pursue hybrid races for three reasons. The first is aesthetics, often referred to by the community as getting the “drip” of another faction. The second is social convenience, allowing friends from different races to play together more easily. The third is content access, as hybrid races can open the door to additional worlds, missions, and raid opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable.
The hybrid race system in VV: Ultimatum is a flexible feature that allows you to experience content from multiple factions without sacrificing your existing character progression. Since the process is completely reversible and provides no combat advantages, it serves as an excellent way to expand your gameplay options and play alongside friends regardless of faction choice.
