How to Find the Dam Lurker
Step 1: Reach the New Camp
Progress through the game until you gain access to the New Camp. You’ll need to pass through the gate guarded by Jarvis.
Step 2: Go to the Dam
Head toward the dam structure in the New Camp. You’ll find a character named Homer standing on the dam.
Step 3: Talk to Homer
Speak with Homer on the dam.
He’ll tell you that a lurker is gnawing away at the dam’s footings, which triggers The Dam Lurker side quest.
Step 4: Follow the Lake Shore

Leave Homer and head back toward Jarvis at the gate.

Turn left immediately after passing the dam.

Follow the lake shore path along the water.
Step 5: Locate the Lurker
The Dam Lurker waits on a small spit of land below the dam along this shoreline. You’ll see the amphibian creature when you reach this rocky outcrop.
Step 6: Kill the Dam Lurker
Return to Homer on the dam and report that you’ve killed the lurker to complete the quest and earn +300 XP.
