Ace of Acorns (Card)
Checkpoint: 02 In Position – Objective: Investigate the blond man
After parking the car and continuing on foot, go up the stairs.
Then on the left go down the next stairs.
The Ace of Acorns is on the railing.
Pillow Mint (Memento)
Checkpoint: 03 The game is on – Objective: Search the hotel
From the checkpoint start (huge room with guests), go left to find a “Staff Only” room before the stairs.
A Staffer walks around with a pickpocket prompt.
Distract him using the Dart Phone.
Or wait until he walks to the stairs, then activate the vacuum at the top of the stairs. While distracted, loot the key from him.
Enter the “Staff Only” room.
And find the Pillow Mint on the wooden cabinet next to a chair blocking a door.
Chess Biography (Legacy Item)
Checkpoint: 03 The game is on – Objective: Search the hotel
From the checkpoint start, go down the stairs on the left.
At the bottom, take the next right and go to the end of the hallway (past an elderly woman you can eavesdrop).
At the floor’s end, find a seating area with 2 guys talking about an Aston Martin—the Chess Biography is on the small table.
Ober of Shields (Card)
Checkpoint: 03 The game is on – Objective: Search the hotel
From the Chess Biography, turn around and head into the big central hall where 2 people play chess on stage.
Go along the left side and enter the Dining Room (7 round tables with white tablecloths).
The card is on a table in the front-left corner from where you enter.
Championship Badge (Memento)
Checkpoint: 03 The game is on – Objective: Search the hotel
From the Ober of Shields, exit back into the hall where they play chess on stage.
On the left, squeeze through the gap in the boxes to the backstage area, then immediately turn left into a side corridor.
The Championship Badge is on a big black crate.
6 of Roses (Card)
Checkpoint: 03 The game is on – Objective: Search the hotel
Go downstairs to the reception. Directly behind reception, go through the white door.
Enter Manager’s Office in the back-right corner of the restricted area (distract guard or use “Staff Only” room with 2 maids).
Check the safe under the desk and enter code 1952 (year of the middle wine bottle in the room).
The 6 of Roses is inside.
Slovakia Postcard (Postcard)
Checkpoint: 07 Accessing Room 206 – Objective: Access room 206
Once in the hallway outside Room 206, a maid paces outside Room 205.
After eavesdropping, distract her by turning on the nearby vacuum.
Or shooting her with a phone dart to pickpocket the Room 205 Keycard.
Enter Room 205.
And the Slovakia Postcard is on the nightstand by the bed.
6 of Acorns (Card)
Checkpoint: 08 Delivery Area – Objective: Pursue the blond man
Later in the chapter, after the story takes you through Room 206, you’ll enter a service corridor with a big blue power cable.
At the end of the corridor, go through the door and head left to the terrace.
The card is on a table (area unlocks at this objective).
7 of Bells (Card)
Checkpoint: 10 The vanishing – Objective: Pursue the blond man
After solving the dining room puzzle (Lion > Snake > Goat), you enter a dark cellar.
After vaulting over the first table, turn left to enter a room with prison bars.
The 7 of Bells is on the crate (before squeezing through a gap).
Critical Mistakes to Avoid

Don’t skip pickpocketing the staffer for Pillow Mint—distract first or you’ll alert them.

Safe code 1952 for 6 of Roses is the middle wine bottle’s year in Manager’s Office—check it first.

You need the Laser Strap (unlocked Chapter 9) for later chapters, but Chapter 8 doesn’t require it.
