In Crimson Desert, the objective Repair the third pensive statue is solved by finding the two missing stone hands near the statue, placing them with Axiom Force, then using Force Palm to lock each hand into the correct position. The third statue in Jijeong Temple in Chaos is the most awkward one because both hand placement and angle matter more than the earlier statues.
How to repair the third pensive statue
Step 1: Reach the third statue area
Head to the third pensive statue in the Jijeong Temple in Chaos quest.

And move toward the small cave-like section near the water.

Come from the central island slightly north of the marker, then gliding to the stairs that lead into the cave.
Step 2: Find both missing hands
Look for the two statue hands around the objective. The first will be on the floor in front of the statue.

The second across from it on a small cliff.

The minimap should show white hand icons, which makes the search much faster.
Step 3: Place the first hand with Axiom Force
Use Axiom Force to grab the first hand and move it into the statue’s broken arm socket.

The key is to get the hand close enough that the game recognizes the correct alignment, which usually triggers a green mist or glow.

Step 4: Lock the hand with Force Palm
Once the hand is aligned, use Force Palm to attach it permanently.

If the connection fails, try a different angle, stand slightly to the side, or use a higher position so the crack lines are easier to see.

Step 5: Repeat for the second hand
Grab the second missing hand and repeat the same process. You will first have to get the hand near the statue.

Once there, pick it up and position it with Axiom Force, then finish with Force Palm.

Step 6: Use height if the game resists
If the hand will not connect, jump, hover, or climb onto the statue to change your angle before using Force Palm again. If the hand seems bugged, leave the area, fast-travel away, or reload the last save if it gets stuck.
Placement details
The third pensive statue tends to fail when the hand is close but not aligned at the right rotation.
Mistakes to avoid
-
Do not try to Force Palm too early; the hand must be visually aligned first.
-
Do not assume the first angle will work; the third statue is known for being more finicky than the others.
-
Do not ignore the minimap hand icons, because they point directly to both missing pieces.
-
If the hand stays stuck or unresponsive, reload the save or leave and return instead of wasting time brute-forcing it.
-
If you have trouble from the ground, climb or hover for a better line of attack.
Finishing the third pensive statue advances the Jijeong Temple in Chaos quest chain and completes the statue-repair objective for that section. Once both hands connect successfully, the mission progression continues immediately without any extra puzzle step.
