Patch 1.07.00 for Crimson Desert is now rolling out across all major platforms, bringing a sizable gameplay update focused on boss rematches, unarmed combat improvements, mount variety, and a long list of fixes.

One of the biggest additions in this patch is the expansion of the boss rematch system. Players can now challenge several additional bosses again after defeating them previously.

Newly added rematch encounters include Muskan at Bonepit, Corrupted Caliburn at Fort Musket, Goyen at Spire of the Sun, Draven the Crowcaller at Church of West Demeniss, and Clockwork White Horn at Gate to Advancement.

The developers also adjusted Abyss boss rematch locations so those battles now take place on land instead.

The update also expands combat options for multiple characters. Damiane now has dedicated unarmed combat skills available through the “Fists” section of the skill menu, while Damiane and Oongka both receive a new “Aerial Stab” move. Kliff also gains a “Blinding Flash Finisher” skill for unarmed combat.

Combat improvements continue beyond new abilities. Most unarmed attacks and skills can now properly hit enemies lying on the ground, and Oongka’s “Explosive Strike” now includes a charge phase. The update also improves combo chaining into “Stab” while dual-wielding and refines Damiane’s general unarmed movement animations.

Mount systems also received attention in Patch 1.07.00. Additional wolf and bear types can now be registered as mounts, reins were added for certain mounts, and the number of animals usable as mounts throughout the world has been increased.

Several quest and progression bugs have been resolved. The patch fixes issues affecting quests such as “Faces on the Bounty Notice,” “Ugmon’s Request,” “Protectors of the Abyss,” and “Plentiful Greeting.” The update also resolves cases where missions could fail to progress after disbanding comrades and fixes problems involving disappearing quest items and NPC behavior at the Saltroad Trading Post.

The update addresses multiple mount and companion-related bugs as well. Legendary mounts and the A.T.A.G. can now be summoned correctly in situations where they previously failed to appear, and horse equipment disappearance issues were fixed.

On the technical side, the patch resolves a GPU crash issue affecting AMD driver version 26.5.1 and improves localization quality across all supported languages.

UI and control improvements are also included. The developers fixed incorrect controller prompts that displayed keyboard inputs during controller play, corrected the “Sword of Starlight” icon mismatch, and improved interaction angles for the coil pillar handwheel.

Patch 1.07.00 additionally fixes several gameplay issues involving horseback combat, enemy behavior, weapon animations, and movement glitches. Lions, tigers, and large wolves will no longer fall over every time they are hit, while jump attack gliding distance with sword-and-shield builds has also been corrected.

Boss-specific fixes were included as part of the update too. Awakened Ludvig’s excessive gliding attack patterns were corrected, and Blackstar’s health recovery issue during “Deferred Advance” was fixed.

Overall, Patch 1.07.00 focuses less on large-scale content expansion and more on refining gameplay systems, improving combat flow, expanding replayability through boss rematches, and stabilizing the overall experience.
