How to accept Behind the Nuts
Before even launching One Flew, return to the P.I. Office and speak to Tammy Tumbler.
Make sure the side job note is queued on your office board; if it is, she will offer Behind the Nuts as soon as you approach.
Once you accept, load into One Flew from the office board. If you skip this and jump straight into One Flew without grabbing the side‑job note, you will not be able to complete Behind the Nuts later, since the game has no level select and doors lock behind you.
Traveling to the piano location
Inside One Flew, you progress through the main asylum area until you reach the second floor.
Shoot the target on top of Millie Curd
Go through the gate. On the left side of that main platform, you will see a piano sitting in its own alcove, slightly off‑center from the hallway.
This piano is not on the main path, so it is very easy to rush past it if you are only following the main mission markers.
Stand in front of the piano and interact with it. The game will prompt you to press keys, but it does not spell out the exact sequence in‑text.
To lower the bridge and unlock the hidden wing leading to Gloria’s cell, press the piano keys in this order:

Once you play C–A–G–E, a sound cue confirms that the hidden mechanism is triggered. A nearby bridge or walkway drops down, revealing a new section of the asylum that was previously blocked off.
Reaching Gloria’s cell
From the lowered bridge, run along the path it opens. This new wing funnels you into a row of cells lining one side of a narrow corridor.
Move down the cellblock until you find Gloria behind the bars in one of the cells. She is clearly labeled in the dialogue, and her cell is not hidden in a back‑corner; it sits along the main stretch of the new wing.
Once you are directly in front of her cell, use the camera to take a clear photo of Gloria. You do not need a special camera upgrade or angle; any standard shot that captures her inside the cell is sufficient.
How to complete the side job back at the office
With the photo of Gloria stored in your inventory, finish any remaining objectives for One Flew and then exit the mission. Return to the P.I. Office and approach Tammy Tumbler again.
Talk to her and select the option to submit the photo of Gloria. Upon verification she will acknowledge that you brought back proof of Gloria being held in the asylum, which closes the Behind the Nuts side job.
Afterward, you receive 3 schematics as a reward, and the side‑job slot in your overall checklist will be marked complete.
Rewards and impact on completion
Finishing Behind the Nuts does not change the main story, but it does contribute to the Real Deal Gumshoe achievement, since every side job must be completed for that trophy. The 3 schematics are useful for upgrading your tail‑pick or camera gear, making subsequent investigations slightly easier.
