How to start the quest
Step 1
Progress through the early tutorial until the doctor introduces the quest. The quest appears very early in the game and is tied to the opening progression path.

Open your map and hover over the banner marked Rescuing the Crew. This shows the first rescue location you need to reach.
Step 3
Head to that marked location and prepare for combat. The first area is guarded by enemy pirate crew holding your captain.
How to clear the first camp
Step 1
Engage the enemies carefully rather than rushing in. The recommended method is to kite them one by one so you do not get overwhelmed.

Back away between attacks and keep the fight controlled. The sequence shown is to strike, pull back, and repeat until the enemy is defeated.
Step 3
After clearing the camp, move to one of the cages and speak with the captured sailor. This starts the rescue dialogue.
Step 4
Finish the dialogue with the rescued sailor. Near the end of that conversation, the game reveals the locations of the rest of the crew.
How to find the rest of the crew
Step 1
Check the map again after speaking to the first sailor. New banners appear showing the nearby rescue points.
Step 2
Visit each marked camp in turn. The remaining sailors are spread across a cluster of nearby locations rather than being hidden far away.
Step 3
Repeat the same process at every camp: defeat the guards, reach the cages, and talk to the trapped sailor.
Step 4
Keep going until all seven sailors have been rescued. Once the final sailor is freed, the quest line is complete.
Combat approach
The key to this quest is control, not speed. The enemies are a little difficult, so single-target fighting is the safest route.
