How to complete the sect initiation quest
Follow these detailed steps to infiltrate and steal the Unfettered Rope Dart.
Step 1
Head to the Li Zi Xing Yun Secret Cellar in the Ghostlight Market. It’s located west of the Ghostlight Market boundary stone.
Talk to Tianyan there and pay 999 Coins to start the quest.
You will be teleported to the quest’s starting location.
Step 2
Turn right here at the fire pit and follow the path ahead.
Step 3
Dive into the water at the lantern then swim straight ahead.
At the diverging paths, go to the left first.
And obtain the first chest then head to the right path.
Step 4
Resurface and move along the path on the right.
Go to the edge of the cliff and take out the enemy below.
Step 5
On the bridge ahead, there is a patrolling guard. He won’t move across the bridge.
Wait for him to turn his back then move in for the kill.
Step 6
Next, enter the hallway where there is another patrolling guard.
Hide behind the boxes first and wait for him to turn his back before going in for the kill.
Step 7
Continue moving forward then turn right and take the path forward.
Turn left at the end and climb the ladder to get the second chest.
Step 8
Go back to the previous area and enter the large room ahead.
Drop down on top of the closest bookshelf then use Celestial Seize to get the third chest.
Step 9
Jump to the next bookshelf and move forward. You’ll see a guard standing still below you. There is also a patrolling guard on the right side. Wait until the patrolling guard passes by and kill the standing guard first before going after the patrolling guard.
Afterwards, exit to the next area.
Step 10
Upon exiting the room, turn right and dive into the water.
Go underwater and swim left. Resurface behind the enemy then kill the two guards.
Afterwards, get the fourth chest then go to the next area.
Step 11
Kill the guard first then jump across from the fire pit. Dive underwater inside the waterfall. Swim right to get the fifth chest.
Step 12
After opening the chest, look ahead and you’ll see torches on a wall and a stairway. Swim towards the stairway and resurface there.
Step 13
After resurfacing, move to the top of the stairs. You’ll see patrolling guards on your left and right. Take out the one on the left first then the right. Wait until they turn their back before going in for the kill.
Step 14
After killing the guard on the right, look south and you’ll see a large tree. Take out the patrolling guard near the small bridge then jump across to the tree. From there, you’ll see the sixth and final chest.
Step 15
Go up the tree and take out the guard below before going for the guard near the final chest and taking the chest.
Step 16
After taking the sixth and final chest, look to the left, and you’ll see a stairway.
Swim across the water and go up the stairway then head left.
Step 17
Move up the stone stairs, stand on the blue circle.
Then steal the Martial Art to get the weapon.
