Pokémon POKOPIA lets you exchange rare feathers from legendary Pokémon like Ho-oh and Lugia for valuable items in a secluded spot. Here’s how to do so.
Reaching the feather trading spot
Start in the Wasteland and head down the path where Drifloon appears.

Pass the usual Onyx corner and the large bridge leading toward Pallet Town.

Then enter the side path that unlocks later in the story. This leads into the Rocky Ridges zone, which requires advancing through other areas first.

Spend time in Rocky Ridges to learn new moves and meet key Pokémon like Chef Dente for cooking and DJ Rom as part of the main plot. Cook salads by processing leaves on a cutting board to power up your cut attack, turning the bar yellow. This lets you clear unbreakable bushes that block paths.

Run past NPCs and head straight down, ignoring the rock-blocked forward path.

Turn right past Magmar into the lava-filled area, where new Pokémon like Armarouge may spawn.

Spot the building ahead, ignore small Pokémon.

Cross the lava using placed flooring tiles or edge jumps if needed—use your jump move.

Entering and trading with Gimmighoul
Climb inside the building to meet Gimmighoul, a treasure collector who adds to your Pokédex.

Talk to him; he recognizes fellow collectors and asks for Rainbow Feathers from Ho-oh (dropped after sky flights) and Silver Wings from Lugia.

How to complete the first trade
Step 1
Approach Gimmighoul and confirm you have a Rainbow Feather.

Step 2
Hand over the Rainbow Feather; he accepts it eagerly.
Step 3
Receive your trade item immediately after.
Trading Silver Wings and more
Gimmighoul also wants Silver Wings. Trade one for a pop art table—treat it like a best friend. Repeat trades for other items like pop art sofas using additional Silver Wings.

Handling Lost Relics
Take any Lost Relics to the Professor for appraisal first. Return appraised ones to Gimmighoul for more pop art furniture trades.
Completing Gimmighoul’s habitat quest
After initial trades, Gimmighoul requests a mini museum habitat. Gather a post (like harbor poles from Vermillion harbor), a large Lost Relic, and a pedestal or exhibition stand. A pedestal already exists nearby, so build quickly. Poles are easy to take from early areas like Vermillion.
Exploring the trading area extras
The building resembles a museum like Cinnabar or Pewter, with fossils and Pokémon to collect. Pick up music notes on the ground nearby for extra learning about the Lord.
Trading maximizes rare drops from Ho-oh and Lugia flights, turning them into stylish furniture while progressing Gimmighoul’s storyline for ongoing exchanges.
