All required areas are located within the Care Center’s ground floor and east wing. The kitchen security corridor leads to the wrench, while the dining room hallway connects to Cold Storage. The garage sits adjacent to maintenance corridors and houses the Organ Transport Box. Finally, the examination room in the east wing contains the body used for the transplant sequence and the encounter that follows.
Completing the Sun Quartz requirement
Before beginning this sequence, you must finish the Sun Quartz puzzle elsewhere in the Care Center. This unlocks the progression route tied to the wristband upgrade. Without it, certain doors remain inaccessible.
How to find the wrench past the kitchen
Head toward the kitchen area and move through the nearby security door corridor. Locate the Wrench in the secured area beyond the kitchen. It is positioned along the path before reaching Cold Storage access.
Pick it up, as it’s required to manually open a locked Cold Storage door.
How to access Cold Storage and retrieve the artificial heart
From the ground floor, move past the dining room toward Cold Storage. Interact with the locked Cold Storage door and use the Wrench to open it.
Enter the room and locate the Artificial Heart inside a refrigerated container. Collect the Artificial Heart. This is the first organ needed for the transplant sequence.
How to solve the Organ Transport Box puzzle in the garage
The Organ Transport Box is located in the garage section of the Care Center. Approach the Organ Transport Box in the garage and interact with it. Switch the control mode to “Hand” mode using the D-pad input.
Adjust the slider mechanism so that internal components align properly. Move Switch 2 and Switch 5 downward. Leave the other switches unchanged.
Switch back to “Auto” mode. Confirm the configuration. The box will unlock if the switches are correctly positioned.
Inside, you’ll find the Artificial Lungs, the second required organ.
Defeating the zombie and claiming the upgrade
Travel to the East Wing Examination Room. Interact with the body on the operating table. Insert the Artificial Heart. Insert the Artificial Lungs.
The moment both organs are placed, a hostile zombie emerges. Prepare your weapon before placing the second organ to avoid being caught off guard.
Defeat the zombie that appears immediately after the transplant. Once defeated, the enemy drops the ID Wristband Level 2.
This upgraded wristband unlocks additional restricted doors in the Care Center and allows you to proceed toward obtaining the final quartz required to escape.
