You should know the renewed partnership between BLAST and Ubisoft is shaping the Rainbow Six Siege esports ecosystem through the end of the 2028/29 competitive season. This three-year extension builds on their collaboration that began in 2023 and formally ties BLAST to Ubisoft’s global competitive circuit for the next cycle.

Under the deal, BLAST continues as the organiser and producer of major competitive events for Rainbow Six Siege, handling everything from broadcast production to commercial partnerships as part of a more unified global structure.

As part of the 2026–27 competitive roadmap, Ubisoft and BLAST have confirmed major event destinations across the world. In May 2026, the first BLAST Rainbow Six Major will be held in Salt Lake City, USA, followed by a second Major in Japan from November 6–15, 2026. The season wraps with the Six Invitational 2027Siege’s premier world championship — scheduled for Brazil in February 2027.

The partnership also brings structural refinements. The competitive season now begins with a Challenger Series in early months, moving into a Season Kickoff event in April that awards the first Six Invitational (SI) points. Two Regional League stages — typically held mid-year and in autumn — lead into the major international events. A mid-season Esports World Cup has also been incorporated as a key qualifier, offering at least one direct spot to SI27.

A notable expansion under the renewed deal is the launch of the China National League (CNL), a ten-team league fully aligned with the global rankings. CNL teams will join the global standings immediately, with eligibility to participate in events and receive a share of R6 SHARE revenue starting in 2027 — placing China alongside other major regions with clear paths to Majors and the Invitational.

Overall, the BLAST–Ubisoft partnership roadmap to 2029 strengthens the Rainbow Six Siege competitive framework with broader geographic reach (including USA, Japan, Brazil, and China), a clearer competition calendar, and expanded opportunities for teams and fans alike.
