The Super Big Robot! mission in Arknights: Endfield is Part 4 of the ongoing Carly’s Fairytale of the Valley event. This mission requires you to capture a specific set of criteria at the Aburrey Quarry, blending character requirements with architectural framing to tell a story through the lens.
Location and setup
Super Big Robot takes place in Aburrey Quarry, a sector of Valley IV that mixes industrial machinery with rugged terrain. The specific photo spot is at Lifter Central, an area filled with heavy lifters and cranes that visually support the super big robot theme.
When you arrive, you are meant to view the space through Carly’s storybook lens, treating the construction machines as fantastical giants. The long-armed robot anchors the shot, while the surrounding props act as the playground and castle of her fairytale.
Photo requirements for Super Big Robot
You must:

Take the photo specifically at Aburrey Quarry, Lifter Central.

Make sure the Super Crane is visible in the frame.

Include Brickyland Castle in the shot as a clear background or side element.

Field at least one operator who wields a sword.

Have at least three operators visible in the photo.

Arrange your squad in a Triangle group pose formation.
If any of these conditions are missing, the mission will not register as complete even if the shot looks good from your perspective.
How to complete Super Big Robot step by step
Step 1
Make sure you have progressed through Carly’s Fairytale of the Valley up to Sketches of Innocence, Day 3, so that Stage 4: Super Big Robot is available in your mission list. Check that you have unlocked the Valley IV area and can travel to Aburrey Quarry.
Step 2
Assemble a squad with at least three operators, including one who uses a sword as their primary weapon. Confirm that this sword user is actually in your active lineup before entering the mission.
Step 3
Head to Aburrey Quarry in Valley IV and move to the Lifter Central section, which is the specified photo location for the mission.
Look around until you have a clear view of the long-armed giant robot sitting on or near elevated rock or machinery.
Step 4
Switch to photo mode or the mission’s dedicated camera function while standing in Lifter Central, and orient the camera so that the giant robot dominates the mid or background. Make sure Super Crane and Brickyland Castle are both clearly visible within the same frame.
Step 5
Activate the group pose options and select the Triangle formation, then adjust your operators’ positions so all three are in the shot.
Step 6
Once all requirements are satisfied, capture the photo to trigger mission recognition and progress the event.
