Location
Victory Ridge is on Dam Battlegrounds, and the old EMP trap sits in an open area in that region. The exact location is shown below:
It is directly west of Generator Hall and north of Hydroponic Dome Complex.
How to shut down the EMP trap in Straight Record
Step 1
Go to Victory Ridge on Dam Battlegrounds to progress the first objective.
Step 2
Find the old EMP trap and interact with it once to start the shutdown sequence.
Step 3
Disable the first power switch.
It’ll be located a small ridge directly behind the EMP trap.
Step 4
Disable the second power.
It will be found inside the ruined buildings near the EMP trap.
It will be on an upper floor (you’ll need to climb and navigate the ruins to reach it).
Step 5
Disable the third power switch near the trap’s vicinity.
It’s still close enough that you’re not traveling far from the EMP trap area.
The best way to reach this is to follow the cable on the ground from the second power unit.
Step 6
Return to the old EMP trap and interact with it a final time to shut it down and complete the objective.
As long as you use the EMP trap as your anchor point, the three power switches stay within a tight loop around Victory Ridge, and the quest finishes as soon as you return to the trap for the final shutdown interaction.
