Unlocking Blightcliff Observation Post in Arknights: Endfield is tied to the Elevated Rescue exploration mission, where you repair a broken bridge and cross into the outpost area. Basically, you’re progressing the story far enough that a damaged bridge gets repaired, opening the route into Blightcliff Observation Post.

Blightcliff Observation Post is accessed as part of Elevated Rescue, an exploration mission located in Origin Lodespring in Valley IV.
Elevated Rescue itself only becomes available after you complete Cradle of Ages, so if you can’t see the mission yet, that’s the first checkpoint to clear.
How to unlock Blightcliff Observation Post
Step 1: Unlock the Elevated Rescue mission
Complete Cradle of Ages, then check the Missions Hub and track Elevated Rescue.
Step 2: Start Elevated Rescue by meeting Hermann
Go to the mission start and speak with Hermann (UWST SAR crew member) to begin the rescue operation.
Step 3: Rescue the trucker
You’ll first need to rescue the trucker. To do so, make your way up the containers.
Go to the terminal and Lower Cargo.
Doing so will lower this container.
Now simply jump across the two containers and get to the trucker.
Don’t forget to grab the chest nearby.
Step 4: Progress until the bridge repair objective appears
Go back to Hermann and update the quest. Next, the bridge will need repairs and you’ll be asked to find backup parts.
Step 4: Collect all three backup parts inside the marked search radius
Search within the yellow radius for green backup-part items; the mission notes they’re spread across three spots in the same area. Use Scan to highlight items, and follow faint beams of light as navigation hints while you move between the pickup points.
The first item will be behind a truck (before the beasts).
The second item on a crate.
The third item before a capsule door.
Step 5: Fix the bridge with Hermann
After you have all three backup parts, return to Hermann.
And repair the bridge to restore the path forward.
Step 6: Cross the repaired bridge to reach Blightcliff Observation Post
Once the bridge is intact, cross to the other platform.
This is when you arrive at Blightcliff Observation Post in Origin Lodespring.
