This latest ARC Raiders 1.12.0 update is a relatively small but important patch that improves fairness and removes issues that could impact competitive play. Here’s what was addressed.
Exploit fixes
The developers patched out both item and ammo duplication exploits that players had been using to unfairly increase their resources. These kinds of exploits can quickly unbalance progression and economy in group matches, so addressing them improves overall gameplay integrity.
Combat and collision adjustments
The patch also resolves issues where players could damage others through map geometry — effectively shooting or hitting opponents through unintended walls or surfaces. Fixing these cases helps ensure combat feels consistent and fair.
Map integrity improvements
Several spots on the Stella Montis map where players could reach unintended areas or escape the intended play space (“out of bounds”) have been corrected. This minimizes exploits related to map geometry and keeps matches within intended boundaries. You’ll need to restart your game client for the patch to download and take effect.
For context, the earlier January 13 update (1.11.0) focused on balance changes to weapons such as the Trigger Nade and Kettle — reducing overpowered performance in PvP — and included cosmetic additions like the Abyss set, plus fixes to exploits like room-key bugs and lighting tweaks on some maps.
