Get ready for Nefer’s arrival in Genshin Impact! This quick pre-farm guide lists all her ascension and talent materials so you can level her up instantly on release — from boss drops to local specialties and talent books.
Nefer is an upcoming 5-star character in Genshin version 6.1, who hails from Sumeru, yet her Ascension and Talent materials can only be obtained in Nord-Krai.
This means that you can pre-farm most of her ascension and level up materials such as Nagadus Emerald gemstones, Warrant drops, Moonfall Silver, and Ascended Sample: Rook.
But, unluckily for pre-farmers, her main boss material, Radiant Antler, can only be farmed when the upcoming open-world boss, Frostnight Herras, drops on 22nd October, 2025, with the version 6.1 update.
We suggest that players should stock up on fragile resin.
Nefer’s Ascension Materials ❄️
To maximize Nefer’s stats and level her to 90, you’ll need the following resources. Note that, as a Dendro-aligned unit, she will require Nagadus Emerald stones from Dendro-based bosses, but the rest of her materials are a mix of resources from Nord Krai and the upcoming boss drop.

Where to Find Materials Now
- Gemstones – Nagadus Emerald: Even though it is no surprise, after all, Nefer is a Dendro character, the best way to pre-farm these is by challenging the Dendro Hypostasis or the Jadeplume Terrorshroom in Sumeru. Alternatively, utilize Dust of Azoth at an Alchemy Table to transmute other gems into Nagadus Emerald, which we recommend personally.
- Local Specialty – Moonfall Silver (Nord Krai): This silvery blue plant can be found by the players exclusively on Hiisi Island in Nord Krai. The most efficient farming route will let you bag about 70-80 of these every few days, or you can join multiple players’ worlds.
- Enemy Drops – Warrant Materials (Nord Krai): The Tattered, Immaculate, and Frost-Etched Warrant items are dropped by the robotic Kuuvahki enemies found throughout Nord Krai, particularly near Nasha Town and Paha Isle. Focus on defeating high-level Kuuvahki for a better chance at the higher-tier materials.
- Normal Boss Drop – Radiant Antler: This new material is obtained from a Frostnight Herras Boss, located in Nord Krai. You will not be able to farm this until Nefer’s official banner release.

- Talent Books – Elysium (Nord Krai): The Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Elysium can be obtained from the Echoes of the North Talent Domain in Nord Krai on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. This is currently the most time-gated material you can pre-farm, so prioritize farming this domain on those days!
- Common Drops – Warrant Materials (Nord Krai): The Tattered, Immaculate, and Frost-Etched Warrant items are the same drops required for her Ascension, so every Kuuvahki you defeat serves a dual purpose!
- Trounce Material – Ascended Sample: Rook: This item is obtained from the new Latest Weekly Boss challenge near Monstad, The Game Before the Gate.
- Crown of Insight: As always, these are obtained from major limited-time events. Make sure to claim one from the current event if you plan to crown Nefer!
