Samsung has begun sending out its newest smartwatch software update globally, bringing One UI 6 Watch with Wear OS 5 to users.

The update debuts on the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic in Korea first, with other regions to follow. The update will be available to:

  • Galaxy Watch 4
  • Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
  • Galaxy Watch 5
  • Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
  • Galaxy Watch 6
  • Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
  • Galaxy Watch FE

The update packs fresh health-tracking tools. The Energy Score tells users about their daily energy levels by checking sleep, activity, heart rate, and other health markers.

Sleep tracking now works better with AI checking movement, time to fall asleep, heart rate, and breathing. Some watch models can now spot Sleep Apnea too.

For fitness buffs, the Race feature lets runners and cyclists compete against their past performance. Users can now build their own workout plans that fit their goals.

The update brings new watch faces – Simple Digital for clean looks and Ultra Info Board for quick info access.

Users can now use AI to reply to messages and control calls, alarms, and photos with double-pinch gestures when paired with Galaxy phones.

The update will show up automatically when ready in your area. You can also look for it yourself in the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
