Verizon releases OTA update for Moto E4

verizon moto e4 update

Veriozn’s Moto E4 is receiving its first-ever OTA update today, and E4 users kind-of have Blueborne issue to thank for this.

The device was released at Verizon long back, and it didn’t receive any security patches so far, but now that Blueborne security has popped up, requiring a fix via an OTA update, here comes on for the Verizon E4 too.

If you are using the Moto E4 at Verizon, expect an OTA update carrying software version NDQS26.69-23-2-3 to become available on your device really soon. Verizon has revealed that the update also brings September 2017 security patch, which basically means all patches till September 2017.

To download the Moto E4 update manually, hit the Settings app, tap About phone, and then System updates. If an update is already pending, select Yes, I’m in to begin downloading. If not, hit the check for update button to try to force the device to look for updates.
